Benchmark Senior Living in Walpole, MA is seeking a Server to join our dining team. You will welcome residents, take orders, serve meals on time, and help maintain a clean, inviting dining environment that supports our residents’ well-being.

This role emphasizes friendly, personalized service, adherence to dietary guidelines, and teamwork. We offer paid training, uniforms, and benefits that support associates and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or caring environment preferred.
• Ability to provide friendly, patient, and attentive service.
• Must follow written and oral instructions and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from residents and serves meals on time with presentable plating.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents with meal selections and special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are both presentable and appetizing in appearance.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• This is primarily a standing position and required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
