Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Server for our community restaurant in Shawnee, KS. You will help create an outstanding dining experience, build relationships with residents, and consistently deliver restaurant-quality service.

As a full-time team member, you will follow service protocols, work with a POS system, and support opening/closing dining room duties. A positive attitude and presentable appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must deliver friendly, attentive service to residents.
• Strong customer service presentation and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain required state certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to tables, present menus, and suggest dishes.
• Relay resident orders accurately to the dining staff/ POS system.
• Perform opening and closing dining room duties as required.

As a Server in our community restaurant, you… help create an incredible dining experience, build relationships with residents, and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. Their satisfaction starts with you!

Main Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist in drink selection
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point-of-sale system
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our residents
• If under the age of 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
• Must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations
• Must have strong customer service presentation
