Job summary

RiverWoods in Durham, NH is seeking a full-time server to join our culinary services team, delivering excellent customer service to residents in an independent living setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of culinary experience with hot and cold items.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up breakfast station and take orders using POS, prepare items a la minute.
• Set tables with clean flatware and glassware; maintain sanitation.
• Break down breakfast station and reset for lunch, prep deli items.
• Present lunch options and take orders using POS system.
• Prepare menu items with central kitchen for lunch service and serve.
• Clear dirty dishes and sanitize service areas.
• Maintain stock levels for resident care and comfort.
• Operate ovens, dishwasher, mixer, slicer and other kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Using designated standards, setup breakfast station, take orders using POS and prepare breakfast items for residents a la minute.
• Set place setting with clean and sanitized flatware and glassware.
• Break down and clean breakfast station and reset for lunch with deli preparation.
• Present residents with lunch options and take orders using POS system.
• Prepare assigned menu items in conjunction with central kitchen for lunch service and serve to residents.
• Remove all dirty plates, flatware, glassware etc, from service, wash, sanitize and place in designated location.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of dining space is completed daily using the appropriate checklist.
• Assist in maintaining proper stock levels of all items necessary for resident comfort and care
• Ability to operate ovens, dishwasher, mixer, slicer and other general kitchen equipment to greatest advantage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent of GED
• 1 year of culinary experience in basic food preparation with hot and cold food items; server experience preferred
• ServSafe Certification preferred

Must be available weekends and Holidays.
