Job Overview

The Server (Dining Room Care Manager) provides dining and table services to residents, serving as a role model in dining service, assisting in training care managers, maintaining proper dining room setup, supporting special events, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness standards are met. The role involves handling food and beverages in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties

• Support daily dining room operations, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
• Train new care managers in dining service.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and assist residents with selections.
• Take and serve meal and beverage orders following guidelines.
• Attend pre-meal briefings and follow food handling policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform dining room inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Support decorum and etiquette standards.
• Assist with inventories and setup.
• Document relevant resident information.
• Practice food safety and sanitation procedures.
