Job Overview

The Server (Dining Room Care Manager) provides dining and table services to residents, ensuring standards are met. Responsibilities include serving as a role model, assisting in training care managers, maintaining dining setup, supporting special events, monitoring cleanliness, and managing tabletop inventories. All food handling complies with safety regulations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties

Support daily dining operations, train new care managers, know menu items, assist residents with selections, serve food and beverages, attend pre-meal briefings, and follow food handling policies.

General Dining Room

• Inspect and maintain dining room cleanliness and readiness
• Support decorum and etiquette standards
• Perform opening and closing procedures

Resident Services

• Document pertinent resident information
• Maintain confidentiality

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Handle food safely, clean regularly, and maintain work areas

Risk Management & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, use PPE, and follow safety procedures

Team Contribution & Training

• Participate actively in team efforts, attend meetings, complete required training, and perform additional duties as assigned
