Summary

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing food and beverage service to all customers in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.
• Picks up empty glasses and returns them to the proper area.
• Assists in the preparation of drink orders as required (icing glasses, garnishing drinks).
• Works in assigned area, taking drink orders, presenting drinks to customers, accepting payments, and giving change when necessary.
• Maintains a clean station at all times and performs assigned side work duties such as stocking coffee, glasses, cream, sugar, beverage napkins, etc.
• Knows the menu items, specials, and prices.
• Knows current wine list and has an understanding of the different wines.
• Offers assistance to all gests regardless of where they are seated.
• Handles any guest's complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Performs all other duties specified or assigned.
