Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake, located in Westlake, OH, is seeking a Server to provide dining and table services for residents and guests. You will assist with dining setup, serve meals, and maintain clean dining areas in a compassionate senior living environment.

Ideal candidates will be at least 16 years old with prior dining hospitality experience or a background in senior living, and possess strong communication and multitasking abilities to support our community’s high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full service senior living preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational, time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas.
• Set up dining areas, provide meals and dining services, and clean the dining rooms.
• Follow sanitary procedures and regulatory standards for food service.

General Purpose

The Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas. Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
