Job summary

Fairmont of Farmington Hills is seeking a Server to provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms. You will ensure proper dining setup, serve meals, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with sanitary procedures.

Candidates should be at least 16, have prior dining/hospitality experience preferred, and be able to handle multiple priorities with strong communication, time management, and sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in organizational, time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

General Purpose

The Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas. Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
