Job summary

Mariella of Grapevine is seeking a Dining Service Partner to help provide a seamless, enjoyable and hygienic dining experience for residents. The role involves taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, serving, and maintaining cleanliness across the dietary area.

Ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma, good communication skills, and flexibility. Required licenses such as food handling and first aid may be obtained as needed.

Full and Part Time Positions Available

We are looking for a Dining Service Partner to join our team! Our resident’s look forward to every meal and you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless, enjoyable and hygienic dining experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• You'll take beverage and meal orders from our residents, coordinate with the kitchen and serve according to standards.
• Address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed.
• Perform general cleaning of dietary department, including vents, ovens, vent hoods over ovens, and outside garbage area.
• Organize stock and make deliveries, as needed.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Flexibility, adaptability and a great attitude
• Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial/restaurant kitchens
• Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Must possess a valid First Aid Certification and be available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to understand and meet standards for health, safety, and excellence.
