Job summary

Trustwell Living of Springfield is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide/Server to serve meals to our residents with warmth and efficiency. Join a team that treats meals as moments to brighten the day and to support the health and happiness of our senior community.

Shifts include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with some weekends and holidays required. You will keep dining rooms tidy, ensure meals arrive hot, and help personalize experiences while upholding health standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write English clearly for residents.
• Enjoy working with the elderly and collaborating with care staff.
• Interact professionally with Residents, the public, and co-workers.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to Residents on schedule, ensuring they are hot and presented well.
• Keep workstations, utensils, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Learn residents' dining preferences and personalize the experience daily.
• Maintain dining areas clean, tidy, and in line with health standards.
• Take pride in plate presentation to impress residents.

What You’ll Be Stirring Up:

Serving tasty meals to our Residents on schedule, serving it up hot and on time, every time

• Keep it clean ; workstations, utensils, and equipment sparkle with your touch


• Learn what our Residents love to eat and personalize the experience every day


• Keeping the dining areas clean, tidy, and up to health standards


• Take pride in presentation and aim to impress every plate


• Noticing changes in residents' needs and sharing with the care team

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner for residents.


• Must enjoy working with the elderly and all who associate with them. Must be able to interact with residents who are highly susceptible to common illnesses without exposing them to additional health risks. Ability to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services.


• Interacts in a professional manner with Residents, the public, and co-workers. Works cooperatively with management. Displays willingness to assist co-workers when the situation requires.


• CPR/First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment.
