We are looking for aServer/Culinary Assistantto join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community, located in Forest Lake, MN.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• casual hours per two weeks (fill in for shifts ahead of time and for last minute needs)
• day/early evening shifts
• requires working one weekend a month

Responsibilities:

• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
• Assists with meal prep and special events
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Preferred:

• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
• Desire to work with seniors
• Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
