Job summary

Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon and nearby locations seeks a Server CPU SoC Architect to define and drive innovative CPU architectures, balancing performance, power, frequency, and area for HPC and edge applications. You will model, evaluate tradeoffs, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable CPU solutions, collaborating across architecture, design, verification, and validation groups.

Required: a Bachelor's in CS/EE with 4+ years in CPU architecture (or higher degrees) and strong SoC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in CPU architecture or Master's with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• 4+ years' experience in architecture definition, modeling, and/or CPU architecture fundamentals.
• 4+ years' experience in SoC architecture and development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and document end-to-end architecture specifications.
• Explore and develop new architectural approaches to meet performance, power, and area targets.
• Model CPU performance and power and propose architectural improvements.
• Collaborate across architecture, design, verification, and validation teams.
