Lead end-to-end architecture specs, explore new approaches, and collaborate with design, verification, and validation teams to deliver optimized CPU solutions that keep Intel at the forefront of computing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in CPU architecture or Master's with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year experience.
• 4+ years' experience in architecture definition, modeling, and CPU architecture fundamentals.
• 4+ years' experience in SoC architecture and development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and document end-to-end architecture specifications, ensuring modularity and scalability.
• Explore and develop new architectural approaches and features to meet performance/power/area goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and tradeoff analyses to define CPU requirements and content, including new instructions.
• Model CPU performance and power, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements from workload predictions.
• Develop test plans, testing infrastructure, and simulations for new features and benchmark results.
• Collaborate across architecture, design, verification, and validation teams to deliver optimized CPU solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Master's degree or PhD with relevant experience
