Job summary

Golden Oaks Village of Stillwater is seeking a dedicated Server/Cook to prepare meals for residents and facility staff. You will also provide guidance to dietary aides and dishwashers to ensure food safety and sanitation regulations are properly followed.

The role includes a rotating schedule, weekend shifts, and opportunities to mentor team members while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a long-term care kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as a short-order cook is helpful.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed.
• Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
