Job Summary

The role involves taking food and beverage orders and delivering items efficiently to guests in the dining room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safety and sanitation standards; assist with additional guest needs.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary and allergen requests.
4. Coordinate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Communicate effectively with guests and staff; remain flexible and patient.
6. Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address guest complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisors.
10. Prepare dining area before and after service; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
11. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
12. Assist during special events by collaborating with other departments.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
