Job summary

Kalahari Resorts LLC is seeking a Server for our Cinco Ninos modern Mexican restaurant and Tequila bar in Round Rock, TX. You will provide friendly, responsive service to create a memorable dining experience and actively participate as a team, upholding the Kalahari Promise daily.

As part of the leadership-minded team, you’ll embody Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class and state-certified food handling certification.
• General food and beverage knowledge with at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome with responsive, friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours and recommend items.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter into POS, relay to kitchen and bar.
• Deliver orders from kitchen and bar in a timely manner with appropriate service trays.
• Be ready to assist fellow associates as situations arise.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Server for our Cinco Ninosmodern Mexican restaurant and tequila bar. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide attentive, personalized service, ensuring that food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive, efficient dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.

What We’re Looking For

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
