Job summary

Farmer Boys in Bloomington, CA is seeking a friendly Server/Cashier to be the first point of contact with Guests. You will take orders, manage the register, maintain the dining room and work the drive-thru.

Experience is helpful but not required; training and online courses are provided to help you grow, with flexible schedules and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Previous customer service and/or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Able to read, speak, take direction and comprehend written instructions in English.
• Physically able to stand for up to 4 hours, walk, bend and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must present Food Handler Card as required by state/county.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Server/Cashier

Our Server/Cashiers exemplify Farmer Boys’ brand image as the first point of contact with our Guests. You deliver exemplary customer service before, during and after taking orders. Server/Cashiers take orders, manage registers, maintain the dining room and work the drive thru. Experience is great, but not required. We love to teach if you love to learn. We'll provide hands on training and online courses to prepare you for great things.

We’re Looking For

• At least 16 years old
• Previous Customer Service and/or restaurant experience is a plus
• Able to read, speak, take direction and comprehend written instructions in the English language
• Physically required to stand (up to 4 hours at a time), walk, bend and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to present State or County mandated Food Handler Card within the time allowed for the specific State or County
