Summary:

The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a great experience while dining at Bonton Farms. Servers are responsible for positive interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. They should be attentive to guest needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare tables, fill napkin dispensers, refill condiments, wrap silverware.
• Know the current menu and specials.
• Guide guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in selections, inform guests of menu details, communicate orders to the kitchen via POS system.
• Maintain proper dining experience by delivering food and drinks, fulfilling customer needs, removing dishes, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
• Prepare the final bill, present the check, accept payments, and return change.
• Bus and clean tables immediately after guests leave.
• Perform cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the manager.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed or directed.
• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards as per Employee Handbook.
• Apply correct IDing procedures for alcohol consumption and purchase.
• Assist other servers as needed.
• Wash dishes as assigned or during slow periods.
• Keep restrooms clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications:

• Clear communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate POS system.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
