We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Server Technicians to join our data center operations teams in Virginia Sterling and surrounding area and Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in server hardware breakfix, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of data center procedures and server technologies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform server hardware breakfix tasks according to established SOPs, including component replacement, diagnostics, and testing.
  2. Accurately read and interpret breakfix tickets, including server serial number, rack location, and error descriptions.
  3. Troubleshoot and identify server hardware issues through step-by-step diagnostic methods.
  4. Follow escalation procedures and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  5. Utilize tools such as Excel and Word for reporting, documentation, and tracking purposes.
  6. Understand and work with server BIOS, FRU, BMC, and other related technologies.
  7. Perform tasks involving basic Linux commands and system-level interactions as needed.
  8. Adhere strictly to safety and operational protocols within the data center environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in server breakfix, hardware replacement, and software configuration in a data center environment.
  2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data entry and reporting.
  3. Proficient with server physical architecture, troubleshooting methods, and hardware lifecycle.
  4. Possess strong server troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose issues related to various physical server components.
  5. Basic understanding of Linux, BIOS, FRU, and BMC-related operations.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.
  7. Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail.
  8. Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external partners.
  9. English required; Mandarin preferred.
