Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Welcome and greet guests.
  • Make guests feel comfortable and inform them you are there to take care of them.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Take food and beverage orders, enter into the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver orders timely from kitchen and bar.
  • Prepare and present bills, process payments including credit cards or cash.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of shifts as required.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback.
  • Assist fellow servers as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Complete server training to gain menu knowledge.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings.
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, communicate effectively, and perform basic math.
  • Operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and grooming habits.
  • Food Handler and TABC certifications required.
Physical Requirements

Constant standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, working in hot, humid, loud environments, and frequent communication are required.
