Job summary

Evolution Hospitality seeks a Beverage Server for an on-site role at The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa in Oakland. The position focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences, guiding informed menu choices, and maintaining spotless service areas.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, speeding service, handling payments, and adhering to hygiene and safety standards with strong stamina for a full shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospitality or food & beverage service experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for guest and coworker interactions.
• Must obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler's Card) as per state regulations.

• Know the menu and guide guests on ingredients, dietary needs, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately with attention to detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage service is a plus.
