Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA is seeking a part-time bartender to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will set up and maintain the bar and service stations, take orders, explain daily specials, and assist guests with menu selections to ensure a memorable experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience and a WA Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of bartending experience.
• WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit required.
• Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and provides excellent guest service.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table before, during, and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests; explain specials and menu items.
• Keep wait station clean and restocked; adhere to sanitation and safety policies.
• Conclude dining experience by thanking guests and inviting a return visit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests.
• Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
• Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
• Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
• Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Hold and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit required.
• 1 (one) year experience in bartending required.
• Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
