Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Server/Bartender to guide guests through the menu, upsell, and drive sales while delivering a high-energy experience in our Seattle location. You’ll work with bar and gaming areas, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction across shifts.

Responsibilities include taking orders, processing payments via POS, managing inventory, and creating promotions. Must meet licensing requirements and enjoy a team-driven setting with weekend and night availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in server/bar hospitality encouraged but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
• Able to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
• Meet state minimum age to bartend.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings; present menus and upsell
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage inventory and order supplies to keep bar stocked
• Ensure the bar, golf simulators, and surrounding areas are clean and guest-ready
• Create fresh ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotions
• Check in with guests at the bar and simulators to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of all products and promotions
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
• Verify guests' legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed

The Server/Bartender at Five Iron Golf goes beyond simply taking orders, guiding guests through the menu and offering recommendations that elevate both the dining and gaming experience and the overall guest satisfaction, while also driving sales.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings. Present menus, answer questions about menu items and alcohol offerings, make recommendations, and use upselling techniques
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar is well-stocked
• Ensure the bar, golf simulators, and surrounding areas are clean and guest-ready
• Create fresh and new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotions.
• Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests at the bar and in assigned simulators during their visit to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
• Verify guests' legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Server, bar, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.
