Job Description

A food attendant is responsible for serving meals to guests, overseeing buffet setup and takedown, maintaining the dining area, ensuring food availability, and providing guest services such as seating, delivering food and drinks, managing the buffet, and cleaning tables.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean
• Stock all products to ensure availability
• Dispose of outdated products
• Maintain fresh coffee throughout shift
• Keep tables and chairs clean during breakfast and at closing
• Sweep floors of dining area at opening and closing
• Sweep and mop serving area at closing
• Wash and store used dishes and utensils
• Sweep and mop kitchen at closing
• Wipe down sliding doors weekly
• Wipe counters regularly
• Wrap or seal unused food
• Engage with guests during breakfast to ensure satisfaction
• Wash hands frequently
• Wear gloves when handling food
• Take out trash when full or at shift end
