Job summary

Montage International’s Pendry in Newport Beach is seeking a Server Attendant to join our hotel Restaurant team. This part-time role focuses on supporting the server team, setting tables, clearing and bussing, and delivering WOW moments to guests in a vibrant luxury setting.

You will work with a passionate team, handling duties across service steps, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a guest-centered hospitality experience. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Basic communication skills.
• Food and beverage experience, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist server team needs: stock, clean, and manage the flow of your section.
• Set and reset tables with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary.
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service; assist servers with service steps where necessary.
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary.
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards.
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs.

Your Journey

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for Server Attendant, Bar Pendry (Part-time) is $16.90 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
