Job Description

As a Server Assistant, your responsibilities include:

• Receiving and serving food and beverage orders from guests, including collecting payments and making change.
• Having complete knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
• Understanding and following the sequence of service requirements for the Back Waiter/Food Specialist position and the rest of the serving team.
• Greeting guests alongside the Front Waiter and providing initial greetings if the Front Server is occupied.
• Providing water service and maintaining beverages throughout the meal.
• Serving bread and demonstrating excellent service skills, including memorizing scripted presentations.
• Knowing all menu ingredients and cooking methods to accurately answer guest questions.
• Removing dirty ware and preparing the table for the next course.
• Maintaining a clean table, providing coffee service as required, and thanking guests upon departure.
• Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining the floor throughout the assigned station.
• Performing any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience in a fine dining restaurant.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to carry and serve beverages using a tray.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.

Additional Information
