Meet The Village Country Club: a two-story poolside restaurant & bar located within The Village apartments. It offers a new menu and crafted cocktails, including shaken, stirred, and frozen drinks. The venue features a second-level bar, private event areas, outdoor patios, and arcade-style games.

Job Summary

The server assistant supports guest service by maintaining organization in the Front and Back of House areas. They assist the host and server teams to ensure smooth service and proper setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with guests warmly and courteously
• Prepare the dining area by cleaning and setting tables, decorations, condiments, candles, linen, service plates, and utensils
• Follow sanitation and safety policies to protect guests and staff
• Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing damaged pages
• Assist with table settings by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and addressing spills or guest needs
• Support servers by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash liners, and service stations
• Close the dining area by cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping/vacuuming floors, and removing trash
• Participate in staff training to enhance job knowledge
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Current Food Handler’s certification
• Friendly, courteous, and articulate
• Team player with strong organizational skills and flexibility
• Interest in growth and knowledge in food and beverage
• Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for colleagues and guests
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
• Perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Work in temperatures below 32°F (freezers), 32-40°F (refrigerators), and above 90°F
