Job summary

Artisanal Brewing Ventures is seeking a Server Assistant to support our taproom team in a fast-paced environment. You will clear tables, assist with food and beverage service, and help maintain cleanliness to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Pay starts at $11.35 per hour plus tips, with flexible schedules, opportunities for growth across brands, and employee discounts. Prior serving or support experience is preferred, and a positive, energetic attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (17 allowed in certain counties).
• Prior experience as a server assistant, utility, or food runner preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to taproom and kitchen cleanliness.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Lift and carry trays up to 25 pounds; lift, move, and carry kegs up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean taproom by clearing tables and ensuring efficient turnover.
• Visually inspect food leaving the expo and return incorrect orders to the kitchen for correction.
• Deliver food, beverages, and other items to guests.
• Maintain inventory levels and change kegs when required.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and other tasks as needed.
• Support guests and servers/bartenders with hospitality duties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Server Assistant

Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean taproom by clearing empty glasses, plates, silverware, and other items from a table to ensure a pleasurable dining experience and efficient turnover of tables for new guests.
• Visually inspect all food leaving the expo, ensuring proper plating, sauce application, and presentation; and return any incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen for correction.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory/product for the bar, changing kegs when required.
• Assist with other tasks such as cleaning the dining area, restocking server stations, and rolling silverware.
• Assist guests and servers/bartenders with other hospitality functions as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
