Job summary

Catering By Design in Denver is hiring for seasonal Server Assistant positions. Location is Catering by Design - 1007 York Street, Denver, CO 80206; August through October with varying days/hours. Prior front-of-house and register experience preferred.

A guaranteed minimum of $7/hour in tips is offered, plus a fixed pay rate of $15.79 per hour. Summary: Assists servers with dining room activities, delivers orders, buses tables, and maintains presentation and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Prior front of house experience and register experience are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assists servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
• Delivers orders to the table and buses tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists servers with various dining room activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
• Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
