Job summary

Summerwood Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual for a role requiring effective communication and customer sensitivity. You will maintain cleanliness in the dining area and support team operations.

This position demands the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Regular teamwork and adhering to company standards of cleanliness are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in the primary language of the work location.
• Ability to remain stationary and move quickly in the kitchen.
• Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for up to 7 hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Adaptable to wet floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room.
• Work collaboratively with all personnel.
• Reset tables according to company standards.
• Assist in maintaining the dish area and surrounding environment.
• Run trash to the dumpsters as needed.
• Assist with mopping of floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 7 hours in length.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry dish racks, pots, pans, bus tubs, etc. up to 50 lbs. in weight on a regular and continuous basis.
• Must be able to be subject to wet floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise.

Additional Information

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room including tables, chairs, floors, windows, and restrooms.
• Works as a team with all personnel.
• Resets tables properly after cleaning to company standards.
• Assists in maintaining dish area and parking lot and green space.
• Running of trash to the dumpsters when needed.
