Position: Server Assistant Ruth's Chris - 2nd Shift - Full Time

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $5.50/hr (fixed)

This is a full-time position with 2nd shift hours. Weekend availability is required.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting restaurant operations including guest service, table service, to-go orders, and side work. Adhere to hotel and departmental standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Essential Functions

• Clear and set tables
• Assist guests by delivering bread, water, and food offerings
• Maintain restaurant setup and breakdown
• Know menu items and specials
• Provide suggestions based on local events
• Follow health and safety standards, including temperature logs and product rotation
• Exceed guest satisfaction through quality service
• Complete cleaning and side work duties
• Arrive on time and adhere to attendance policies
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude
• Resolve guest concerns proactively
• Manage time efficiently and control costs
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including recycling
