The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Server Assistant to join the Food & Beverage Team at 33 North Lounge (https://www.waldorfastoriamonarchbeach.com/dine/33-north)!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

Classification: Part-Time
Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
2. Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
3. Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
4. Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
5. Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
6. Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $16.50 per hour plus tips and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
