Atlanta Athletic Club is seeking a dedicated Men’s Grill Server Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting service on the floor, handling side work, and ensuring a pristine dining environment for members and guests.

The position requires flexible availability across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with approximately 35-40 hours per week. We value team players who deliver exceptional service and uphold AAC’s RI SE values.

Qualifications

• Previous fine dining serving experience preferred, though we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain a pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek.
• Friendly and guest-focused, with a strong commitment to providing outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our members.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC).
• Promote teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work.
• Fulfill opening and closing side work on each shift.
• Ensure tables, chairs, and setups are ready before seating guests.
• Continuously inspect the dining room for cleanliness and order and rectify issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and fulfill guest requests promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverages.
• Assist servers with delivering plates and replenishing beverages; Clean and reset tables.
• Inventory condiments and restock from dry goods as needed.
• Assist in other club functions as needed.

Men’s Grill Server Assistant – Full Time

We are seeking dedicated Server Assistants to join our team working in the Men’s Grill approximately 35-40 hours per week. Candidates must be available for various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC)
• Promote an attitude of teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work
• Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift
• Ensure that tables, chairs, and setups are done prior to guest being seated
• Continuously inspects the dining room for cleanliness and order throughout the shift and rectify issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that each request is fulfilled in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings
• Assist servers with delivering plates to tables and promptly replenish beveragesClean and reset tables; practices consistent removal of used plates and/or glassware
• Inventory all condiments in the cooler and retrieve more from dry goods if needed
• Assists in other departments/club functions to help as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., kegs, cases of beverages)
• Safely lift and move kegs weighing up to 120 pounds, with assistance
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy trays of food and beverages
• Strong ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with team members
