Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group seeks a Server Assistant for Doc Crow’s Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar in Louisville. The role supports the service team to ensure an excellent dining experience, greeting guests and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include coordinating prep tasks, assisting with menu changes, and delivering a high-quality, hospitable guest experience. Shifts are day/evening and weekends; pay is $12–$14 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work-related experience required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of food products, menus, and promotions.
• Ensure sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Interact with guests in a professional and hospitable manner.
• Prepare tables, napkins, utensils, and other prep tasks as instructed by managers.
• Support staff and assist with special events as needed.
• Provide water and quick assistance to guests throughout their meals.
• Handle plateware and communicate ordering needs to management.
• Maintain a positive guest experience and document guest recovery situations.
