Okto Mediterranean LLC in Houston, TX seeks an energetic Server Assistant/Expo to join our dining team. You will support servers, expo, and help maintain a smooth, guest-focused service in a fast-paced Mediterranean dining setting.

This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and a positive attitude; evening, weekend, and holiday availability is helpful; food handler certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Formación

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Positive attitude with guest-first mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests accurately and efficiently
• Expo dishes from the kitchen, ensuring proper presentation and order accuracy before delivery
• Communicate between front-of-house and back-of-house to ensure smooth service flow
• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
• Restock service stations with linens, utensils, and glassware
• Assist with running food during high-volume rushes to support the service team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and expo line during shift

• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
• Restock service stations with necessary supplies including linens, utensils, and glassware
• Assist with running food during high-volume rushes to support the service team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and expo line throughout each shift

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time
• Positive attitude and a guest-first mindset
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
