Job summary

Hyatt Regency La Jolla is seeking a Server Assistant to support Food Servers and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will deliver meals, lift and move items, and assist in other F&B outlets as needed, with open shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Prior restaurant exposure is preferred, and strong communication is essential. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and collaborate with team members.

About the Role – Server Assistant

The Server Assistant supports Food Servers in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. Candidate should be able and willing to support in other F&B outlets, including Shor and Market as needed. Open and flexible availability including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays are required. If you have experience as a server assistant in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
