Job Description

The Food Runner/Busser role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds guest and member expectations. You will work to create guests for life by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any needs. You will also carry out daily operations in the pool area to ensure a positive guest experience, coordinate, and execute daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership of all tasks needed to carry out service standards, constantly seeking ways to create guests for life.
• Be creative and innovative to successfully multi-task while serving multiple guest needs efficiently.
• Follow all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Ensure that products are fresh and of high quality.
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the recreation facility.
• Supervise cabanas and towel hut operations.
• Reset tables for new guests.
• Transport food items from the kitchen to the dining area promptly, following all service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal guests, greeting passersby and guests alike.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete all closing duties, such as locking areas and turning off equipment and lights.
• Perform other tasks as needed or directed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours during a shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and sun.
• Comfortable being around pools.
