POSITION OVERVIEW
The Server Assistant provides support to the Server and Bartender Teams. The SA engages with our Resort Guests and Owners in a hospitable, professional and respectful manner. These tasks will be assigned by the shift and include Food/Drink Runner, Bussing, Bar Backing and general tasks assigned by the Restaurant Leadership.
RATE OF PAY fulltime, hourly $17.00 per hour

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year previous experience as a server or server assistant in an upscale restaurant, hotel/resort or private club environment preferred.
Required: Must have a valid driver’s license; a motor vehicle background check will be completed.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
- Must be 18 years old or older to hold this role, serving/selling alcohol in the state of FL.
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
WORKING CONDITIONS - PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires you to be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time.
Must be physically able to safely lift and carry trays, kegs and cases weighing up to 50lbs several times during the course of a shift.
Must be able to use stairs while carrying trays of food or cocktails.
Must be able to work in different types of weather, including high temperatures.
Position will be required to work indoors and outside.
HOURS REQUIRED: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule, will be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
