Responsibilities

• Position Overview: Assist servers and team to maintain cleanliness and readiness; ensure tables are set and supported.
• Guest Experience & Hospitality: Demonstrate sincere hospitality toward guests and team members, contributing to a welcoming environment; remain attentive to dining room and anticipate guest needs.
• Service Support & Execution: Set tables with precision; clear, reset, and turn tables efficiently; support servers with food running and service flow; act as extra hands for smooth service.
• Product Knowledge & Growth: Develop understanding of menu items and restaurant operations; learn product knowledge for growth opportunities.
• Station Maintenance & Organization: Maintain and stock side stations; keep areas clean and prepared; monitor inventory and restock as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work with servers, runners, and management; communicate clearly to support service needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations.

Position Overview

The Server Assistant plays a critical support role in delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience, operating with awareness, urgency, and a strong sense of teamwork. This position requires versatility and a willingness to step in wherever needed, ensuring that every table is properly set, maintained, and supported throughout service. Working closely with Servers and the broader team, the Server Assistant helps drive the pace and flow of the dining room while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness. This role goes beyond support, it is an active contributor to the guest experience, with the expectation to anticipate needs, assist without hesitation, and create an environment where both guests and team members feel supported.

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Demonstrate sincere hospitality toward both guests and team members, contributing to a positive and welcoming environment
• Remain attentive to the dining room, anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to support the overall experience
• Assist in maintaining a clean, polished, and inviting table presence at all times

Service Support & Execution

• Set tables with precision and consistency, ensuring all details meet established standards
• Work alongside team members to clear, reset, and turn tables efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Support Servers by assisting with food running, table maintenance, and overall service flow
• Act as an extra set of hands wherever needed to ensure smooth and timely service

Product Knowledge & Growth

• Develop a strong understanding of menu items, beverages, and restaurant operations
• Actively learn and retain product knowledge to better support the team and prepare for growth opportunities within the organization

Station Maintenance & Organization

• Maintain and stock side stations with all necessary tools, equipment, and service items
• Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and fully prepared for service at all times
• Monitor inventory levels throughout the shift and proactively restock as needed

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Servers, food runners, and management to maintain a cohesive and efficient dining room
• Communicate clearly and consistently with team members to support service needs
