FAR Out Hospitality is seeking server assistants to join the team under the direction of Chef/Restauranteur Felipe Armenta. This is a great opportunity for an innovative, self-motivated individual to join an elite team in Texas.

Responsibilities include table maintenance, resetting tables, delivering food and drinks, stocking stations, bussing, and ensuring cleanliness. Must have a food handler's license and be able to lift 40 pounds; two forms of ID required.

Qualifications

• Food handler's license is required.
• Two forms of valid IDs are required.
• Experience in the restaurant industry is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Table maintenance: clearing and bussing after meals.
• Resetting tables with linen and tableware for next guests.
• Food and drink service: delivering to tables and restocking beverages.
• Stocking server stations with napkins, utensils, and condiments.
• Bussing and resetting: clearing dirty dishes and flipping tables.
• Greet guests, serve water and assist with drinks.
• Food running: carry plates and deliver dishes safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and monitor restrooms.
• Complete opening/closing routines and restock ice.

Core Responsibilities

• Table Maintenance: Clearing and bussing tables, glassware, and silverware during and after a meal.
• Resetting Tables: Wiping down tables, replacing linens, and setting up tableware for the next guests.
• Food & Drink Service: Delivering prepared food to tables, pouring water, and restocking beverages.
• Station Stocking: Ensuring server stations are stocked with napkins, utensils, condiments, and clean menus
• Bussing & Resetting: Promptly clear dirty tableware, transport items to the dishwashing area, and quickly flip tables for arriving guests.
• Beverage Service: Greet guests, pour initial water, refill glasses, and help serve cold drinks, coffee or tea.
• Food Running: Assist servers by carrying plates and delivering dishes safely to tables
• Cleanliness Standards: Monitor restrooms for cleanliness, clear debris outside the venue, and clean up broken dishes immediately.
• Side Work: Complete opening and closing routines, polish silverware, and restock ice and service stations.

Server Assistant Requirements

• Two forms of valid IDs.
• A food handler's license.
• Proven experience working in the restaurant industry.
• Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
