Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa in Austin, TX is seeking a restaurant food runner to support service under the Food & Beverage Director. The primary responsibilities include bussing tables, delivering food and drinks to guests in a professional manner, and assisting servers.

You will help maintain cleanliness, handle cash transactions according to policy, reset tables, stay informed about hotel amenities and local events, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a restaurant food runner role

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Maintains specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• When complete, retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, and deliver to guests along with appropriate condiments
• Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
• Reset tables
• Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area
• All other tasks and duties as assigned
