Quail West Foundation Inc. is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to support the Food and Beverage Team.

The role focuses on dining room support, server assistance, and event service to ensure exceptional hospitality for members and guests at Quail West. This is a part-time hourly position with opportunities to contribute to a premier private club experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in fine dining, private club, or luxury hospitality.
• Must be reliable, respectful, and service-minded.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dining Room Support: greet guests with water, keep glasses full, clear and reset tables promptly.
• Server Assistance: support servers, ensure correct table and seat delivery, carry trays and reset stations.
• Banquet & Event Support: assist in setup, service, and breakdown of functions, restock service areas.
• Team & Operational Standards: attend trainings, follow sanitation and safety policies, communicate hazards to management.

We are looking for a friendly face to join our team as a Server Assistant to help support our Food and Beverage Team!

Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida's most welcoming clubs, Quail West's courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience.

The Server Assistant plays a vital support role within the front-of-house team, ensuring that servers are assisted at every step of service and guests receive seamless, attentive hospitality. This individual is expected to operate with a proactive mindset. Always maintaining water service, clearing and resetting tables quickly, and ensuring prompt bread delivery. The Server Assistant also supports food running, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the correct seat and table. Success in this role depends on awareness, urgency, and a genuine desire to enhance the member experience.

• This is a Part-Time Hourly Position
• Pay rate: $18/hour + gratuities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dining Room Support

• Promptly greet guests with water and ensure water glasses remain full throughout the dining experience.
• Clear plates and reset tables quickly and efficiently between courses and after-guest departure.
• Deliver bread service promptly and maintain readiness of all table-side accompaniments.
• Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Sweep, mop, and manage trash removal as needed during service.

Server Assistance

• Act as a true partner to the server, anticipating needs and actively assisting throughout service.
• Support food delivery assignments with accuracy. Ensuring dishes are served to the correct table and seat number.
• Carry trays, reset tables, and manage dishes return with efficiency and care.
• Refill condiments and server stations to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management.

Banquet & Event Support

• Assist in setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock service areas during events.
• Follow directions from banquet leads and ensure seamless guest service throughout event execution.

Team & Operational Standards

• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and health policies as outlined by the Club.
• Communicate hazards or suspicious activity to management promptly.
• Represent Quail West standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality.
• Complete all end-of-shift duties: clean workstations, remove trash, restock, and reset for the next shift.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in fine dining, private club, or luxury hospitality preferred.
• Must be reliable, respectful, and service-minded.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing and walking required during entire shift.
• Moderate noise level in restaurant and event environments.
