Server Assistant

The Server Assistant is responsible for assisting servers with delivering food and cleaning tables. The role involves creating and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests by providing friendly service and ensuring the restaurant is clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure guests and team members have a spotless, clean, and safe environment.
2. Clear and reset tables quickly between guest seatings.
3. Deliver food efficiently to assigned tables or sections.
4. Familiarize oneself with table/section numbers and the food menu.
5. Respond to guest requests and inform the server or management of any issues.
6. Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, and polishing silverware.
7. Stock supplies for servers and other staff as needed.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server Assistant is preferred or at least 6 months of experience in food service or hospitality.
• Experience with point of sale systems is recommended.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to create memorable guest experiences with food and beverages.
• Mastery of the menu and enthusiasm about our offerings.
• Effective communication skills with team members and management to provide exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and shifts from morning to late night.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
