Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to support servers and ensure each guest has an exceptional dining experience. You will help with refills, greeting guests, and keeping dining areas clean, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Food Handling and Alcohol may be required in some locations, with growth opportunities across new centers.

• Experience in food and beverage is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet guests and take drink orders.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate guests' needs.
• Support server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables.
• Provide memorable guest experiences with excellent service.

Job Description: At Main Event, our Server Assistants support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
