Job summary

The Bus Person at Beaver Creek Lodge Autograph Collection is responsible for assisting the servers to provide the highest quality service while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation. This winter seasonal position begins in early December 2026.

You will keep work areas and tables clean, assist in delivering beverages, pre-bussing, and support servers. This role requires standing for long shifts and the ability to lift heavy objects; prior hotel or food service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal period.
• Keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards.
• Break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area according to established standards.
• Assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests.
• Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side-work checklist.
• Provide service to guests in waiter’s absence as needed.
• Maintain beverage levels in glasses/cups on table at least ¾ full at all times.

Overview

The Bus Person is responsible for assisting the servers in providing the highest quality service possible to guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation. The Bus Person must insure that all tables are kept clean and presentable with clean china, glassware, silverware and linen. This is a winter seasonal position with a start date of early December 2026.

For Employees Based In Colorado

• 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
• 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based In California

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
• Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
