Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's Bay Square at Yarmouth in Maine is seeking Dining Room Servers to join our caring team. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts including Sunday-Thursday 6am-2pm and Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7pm, and a pay range of $18-$19.25 per hour.

As part of our dining team, you will create a welcoming dining environment, take orders, deliver meals, assist residents with special needs, and help prepare the dining room for the next service.

Qualifications

• Must follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department regulations for food service operations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Primarily a standing position; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are presentable and appetizing.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assists residents with meal selection or special needs.
• Prepares dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.

• Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

• Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• This is primarily a standing position and required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
