Job summary

Frenchman’s Creek in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking a Food Server to greet members, take and enter orders on the I-Pad/POS, and serve meals with attentiveness. The role requires providing menu guidance, upselling beverages, and maintaining service standards in a high-energy dining environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of dining- or club-restaurant experience, and familiarity with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 6 months prior experience in a club or dining establishment.
• Must be knowledgeable in Word, and Excel.
• Ability to pick up and learn other computer programs as may be required.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Greets members by name and guests by learning names from reservation sheet or staff input.
• Learns daily food, drink, wine and beverage specials to present to members or their guests.
• Learns members’ food and/or drink preferences and records them for other team members.
• Enters guest’s food orders and drinks orders on I-Pad and through POS system.
• Serves members from chafing dish to table and garnishes/decorates dishes for serving.
