Senior Solutions Management Group seeks a dedicated food service team member to deliver quick, friendly service to residents and guests in a senior living setting. You will keep dining areas clean, assist with tray service, and collaborate with staff to ensure timely meals while following health codes and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take orders and communicate with kitchen; deliver meals to residents and/or guests.
• Respond quickly to residents' needs and requests.
• buss tables and reset them according to standards.
• Complete assigned side work; check out with manager at shift end.
• Assist with Tray Service/Pick Up policies to ensure timely service.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas, china and equipment; comply with health codes.
• Follow personal hygiene policy and safety guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss tables and reset tables in accordance to Company policies, procedures and Standards.
• Complete assigned side work and checks out with Manager at completion of shift.
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely room service according to our Tray Service/Pick Up related policy.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of work areas, china and equipment. Comply with all state and local health codes for food handling. Inspect end of shift duties are completed by staff. Adhere to the personal hygiene policy.
• Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
• Train and/or revisit training with staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
• All dietary department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy.
• Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
