Job summary

Fat Ox is seeking talented, professional fine-dining servers who connect with guests and deliver the Fat Ox experience. You will guide guests through the menu, paying attention to ingredients and allergies, and recommend dishes and Italian wine pairings.

You will take orders, enter them in POS, and ensure a seamless dining flow. You should have at least 2 years of high-volume fine dining experience, excellent English communication, and a passion for teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of service experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Passion for great food and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, ensuring comfort and attentiveness.
• Explain menu ingredients and allergies, and suggest dishes.
• Recommend wines, with emphasis on Italian options.
• Take orders, process in POS, and ensure smooth service flow.
• Respond promptly to requests or issues, maintaining professionalism.
• Keep dining spaces clean and presentable; assist with turnover as needed.
• Collaborate with servers and support staff to deliver exceptional dining.
• Work weekends and holidays, and fill in to ensure smooth operations.

We're looking for talented and professional fine-dining servers tomake real connections with our guests and provide the Fat Ox experienceincluding:

• Making all of our guests feel comfortable and letting them know you are there to take care of them
• Walking our guests through the menu paying special attention to ingredients and allergies
• Recommending dishesaccording to your guests wants and needs
• Suggestingwine pairings, with emphasis on Italian wines
• Taking food and beverage orders, entering orders in POS and firing appropriately to ensure proper flow of meal
• Responding promptly and courteously to requests, issues or complaints
• Keeping the dining spaces clean and presentable, marking and remarking when needed
• Exceeding guest expectations by anticipating their needs and providing excellent communication
• Working with your server and support teams to ensure ax exceptinoal dining experience
• Being available weekends and holidays, and to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
