Job summary

Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Care Ramsey in Ramsey, MN is seeking a friendly Server/Culinary Aide to support meal service and create a warm dining experience for residents.

You will assist with food prep, serve meals on time, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with dietary staff. Training is provided; prior experience is welcome but not required.

Job Summary

We're seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-minded individual to join our team as a Server. As a Server, you'll assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas, and collaborate with our dietary staff to ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support meal preparation and service by assisting with food preparation, setting up dining areas, and ensuring meals are served on time and at the proper temperature.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work areas, and dining spaces.

• Collaborate with dietary staff and care teams to ensure resident satisfaction and provide meal assistance to residents as needed.

• Create a positive dining experience for residents by greeting them warmly, treating them with dignity and kindness, and being a team player to support smooth operations.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred but not required—we'll train the right person!

• Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry during a full shift.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a warm kitchen environment.

Certifications

• Food handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Schedule

• Part-time - 3:30pm - 7:30pm* (Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required)

• Full-time - 7:00am - 3:00pm (Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required)
